Our founder Stanislav never planned to think this much about toilet paper. But one day, staring at yet another plastic-wrapped pack of tree-made rolls, he realised something didn't add up: a million trees a day is a lot to flush - and the eco alternatives were either too expensive or too ugly to buy twice.

That's when his vision was born: everyday paper that anyone could afford and be proud to leave on the shelf. He set out to find producers who could match his standards - 100% bamboo and recycled fibres, no plastic, no compromise on softness - until he found the partners Oliroli still works with today.

What started as one person's big idea has grown into Oliroli - a brand from Novo mesto, Slovenia, that helps thousands of households make a small choice with a big difference.
